Fight back to stop Kingston councils money making scam on issuing penalty charges

You fined my son here . He had only just past his test. So fed up of the fines incurred in Kingston /surbiton

It's outrageous that there is no warning

Got caught by this over Christmas, I paid I so it wasn't doubled then once the festive period was over I phoned to question it, was told I accepted liability by paying it and rushed off the phone

I do not live in Kingston and used this route which I have always taken and got a penalty notice which I disputed but did not Win.

I got stung for 195 pound.we should all get monies back.

I have the received this penalty and went back to look at the signs which were not very clear to a driver when concentrating on the road. The fine was also very steep.

I wouldnt mind if the money was used for things that needed to be done like potholes etc but to use it for transport which should include cars n not buses when they already get their own lanes is a joke also what a waste of millions of pounds for new cycle scheme when everytime i go down the new narrow road down portsmouth road there is still cyclists using the road when theres pratically a bus size lane for them they should be ticketed!!!

I get penalty charge for no reason I'm very happy to sign up petition to remove that scam from Surbiton Angry

I agree that the signage is not acceptable and needs to made clearer to drivers.

I support this entirely. The signage is unclear and confusing, I like many others have paid a fine for an innocent mistake.

Issued with a PCN notice the first time I passed through, appeal was declined, signage is completely inadequate.

I have just this morning received a PCN for this exact thing and my partner has been a resident of surbiton for over 20 years and has never know about this clouded

Ridiculous.... doesn't need to be here! No clear signage. No point to it at all!

I have worked in Kingston for years and if it was not for a friend who used that road before myself I would of been caught. The signage is very poor to warn you specially as been a through road for ages

Just a standard council money making racket under the guise of a cycling scheme.

Without any warning a normally unrestricted road became no entry for cars. The signage wasn't clear and so I received 2 fines in a week. In addition it has contributed to far worse traffic congestion at peak times around Surbiton High School which is a safety issue for the pupils. Ridiculous decision!
