I have received a penalty charge notice, I am shocked! I was born in Kingston 55 years ago, I grew up in Surbiton, I studied in Kingston, I have visited Kingston ever since and I now work for a charity in Kingston. I have driven down this road all my life. However on the 14th April 2017 I drove down this road as I normally do on an infrequent basis. I noticed changes, the signage was poor, and unclear. There were no "Changed Road Layout" signs or something to say this and if there was it should be there for at least a year. This is so unfair and definitely a money making scam.. I did focused on the 20mph, priority arrow sign and road narrowing bollards, assuming that there was a speeding problem. Warnings should have been given earlier and more clearly.

Stang twice, on the way to Kingston and back. Very expensive dentist appointment. As most of us pointed out, serves no other purpose than money making. Disgusting !

I have just received a fine too. i was born in Kingston& have always used this road. The signage was very small and unclear.

I was fined on 24th March. I wholeheartedly agree that the signage is inadequate. I was completely taken by surprise with this new road arrangement, which seems to serve no purpose other than to make money for the council. I reluctantly paid my fine. Can I please be reimbursed?

Ineffectual implementation at residents expense. Why is the stretch of road not red BUSES ONLY or raised?

the council have got this wrong and it seems very strange to change the use of a road and put a camera there where it was never there before . Blatant profiteering like speed traps.

A complete rip-off and not benefit what so ever.

Inadequate signage and not significant benefit to cycle users, if that is the intention of Council., seems like punishing motorist to make money.

Appalling. Total lack of clarity or understandable fore warning. This has always been my safe way into Kingston from Surbiton Station. I received my PCN following a drop off at 6-00am on a Saturday morning (1st April 2017 - April Fool - Kingston Council the architect!).

Absolutely disgusted with Kingston Council. Currently writing up my case for the parking adjudicator. Very few have won but I couldn't not challenge it. Fingers crossed??

This is just a money making scheme.
