This happened to my husband, the bollards weren't even up at that time!! It's outrageous that a council can get away with a money scam like this

Signage unclear. Public not made aware of change in road use. Fines should be refunded

The road signage on Surbiton Road is a farce. The council clearly know this as they had it modified before Christmas. The CCTV system is positioned so that it catches and tickets people before they can see the small CCTV sign. Overall it's a disaster of a setup and stinks of entrapment and a cash cow for the council. The PCNs that are being issued are also mostly for the wrong offence when coming from Surbiton Road (Waggon and Horses direction) and turning left.

The fines for Surbiton crescent should be reviewed with immediate effect, the signage is not clear

This so-called trial closure is ridiculous. It seems a form of entrapment, whether it was intended to be or not. Fines collected should be refunded immediately.

You just can't see the signs until you're committed to driving through.

I was charged twice in one evening, not having understood the signage nor having read about it as I live outside Kingston borough.

This is so unfair. Making money out of innocent people

As so few cars get across the turn right at traffic lights this road closer to cars has created more congestion. Councils need to stop fiddling with road etc that work perfectly well and have done for a long time. Jobsworth springs to mind along with their money making tricks

I am convinced this is a scam. Apparently there have been no incidents. So the only real fix with this is to RBK's Transport budget. I've been fined twice now..... Grrrrr

Totally unfair this one. We tired to claim our fine payment back due to unclear signage. Money making scam by own council think it is totally crimnal how they have behaved. Poor service!
