Please do not share my email with anyone. I do not want a ton of people's opinions on air rights flooding in.

Real shareholders. The same ones who handed out the flier Wednesday; the same ones who have been advocating this all along.

Does anyone know who posted this petition? Does anyone know if it was the Ascend Group and not concerned shareholders? There is no identifying information. That should raise some concern for all of the shareholders.

This neighborhood is going to change like every singe other neighborhood in manhattan. Remember rat infested soho from the 60s, the drunken Bowery from the 90s, scary Hells Kitchen from which it derived its name, the bloody meat packing district full of prostitutes. This isn't about if we want the neighborhood to change. It is going to change whether we like it or not. The question is would you like to get paid for being here first while it changes or do you prefer to just watch it happen and not get paid. Wake up and smell the gentrification. Smells better with a cup of $54 million to me.

I agree this plan makes sense given that the as of right plan gives us nothing back, and will already block views, sunlight, etc... We cannot afford to pass up on this type of money, it is fiscally irresponsible. The minority should never rule in these matters.

Apt C1903. Wish us luck with this. The rejection of the 54 million is absolutely ridiculous. We're losing the light in the park anyway with the as-of-right plan. And those losing their view are also losing it with the as-of-right!!
