I’d gladly pay for a “seat” for my dog (23 lbs) if I could bring him in the cabin! Don’t believe it’s right to try to scan the system and pretend he’s a secure dog when he isn’t!

Pets should be allowed to travel in cabins on airplanes.

So many people would travel more if they could feel confident that their dog or cat is next to them. It's a sign of the times to change some archaic rules.

I live in a large community and most people have dogs but don’t travel as much as they would like because the don’t want to leave their fur family home. More and more pet friendly lodging is available but pet friendly air transportation hasn’t been available. There is a open eager market to the airline that provides this!

Please have more flights where all sizes of dogs are allowed in cabin. Maybe fly to a few different locations across the US (north, south, east and west). People could get close to their destination and drive the rest of the way if needed. And regular flights to other countries/continents. Maybe once a week or every two weeks or even monthly. There has got to be a way to get this done.

My small dog is 15 lbs and I have traveled all over the world with her in cabin until this year when airlines have gotten ridiculously strict. She fits comfortably into her carrier and yet I was told she is too tall. This has been a major disruption to our plans. I feel essentially grounded and would like to see some changes as soon as possible to go back to reasonable requirements for pets in cabin.

Would rather sit next to dog than most people!

Aside from the obvious, of airlines allowing animals a humane transit experience, the industry is missing out on a tremendous revenue, not to mention PR, opportunity in allowing well-behaved domestic pets to fly in the cabins on specifically designated flights.

A program of this nature would drastically help reduce the incidences of people faking "service" animal credentials which is hurting those disabled folks that really need their service animals!
