This is a big issue of safety as well as a source of immense stress for pets and pet parents around the worlds. There is definitely a win win situation for airlines to create a safe environment for pets to be transported.

It is unreasonable that I can travel with a 23 month old child in my lap, yet my 22 pound dog can not be on the plane with me because she does not fit under the seat.

Cargo is terrifying, and stressful for both pets & pet parents. Not to mention the casualties!

Dogs should be able to get certified or cleared to have flight behavior. Actually they probably behave better than many of today’s passengers, and they don’t get drunk before boarding.

I will soon adopt a rescue dog in Luxembourg (or adopt one on my travels & bring it home to Luxembourg) and would like to travel safely with my new family member. Dogs are now (smartly) welcomed in major hotels chain & individual properties so, rather than leave my dog behind, I would to bring it with me in adventures, safely & without putting stress in its life.

Animals have become part of the family and we cannot leave them him or spend 6k to bring them to our new home if we move. Please allow again animals in cargo if the exceed the weight limit.
