South Carolina legislature is debating the future of a possible medical cannabis program. One of the first steps to ensuring a successful roll-out of this program will be to decriminalize possession of cannabis in all forms: raw plant, dried plant, and concentrates. The goal is to obtain 100,000 signatures from South Carolina residents so that we may make our request a solid demand. Decriminalization will protect South Carolina residents and will streamline the tasks of law enforcement. It costs our state over $4800 per person charged with non-violent, minor possession of cannabis. Please sign and share.

Full legalization! Ridiculous I had to leave the state to treat my dad's cancer. I witnessed a drink driver kill someone and he served just two years. Cannabis is a medicine needed by many and should be legal!

As the wife of a disabled Veterans with severe PTSD, I can attest to the benefits of this medication vs the medications (many) prescribed by the VA.

Decriminalization revenue could be partially earmarked to supplement Social Security, support mental illness research, etc. How many other medicines are found in nature that are as regulated as this wonder plant?

My husband has stage 4 Advanced Pancreatic Cancer..doctors say there is nothing more they can do! He needs to eat to live... he needs this plant. Not chemical/man made drugs. I'm new to South Carolina and was told it's a bible region... Look up GENESIS 1:29

I find it ridiculous that marijuana is illegal when we, as a state, could benefit tremendously from the taxes off of legalizing marijuana. But we have to take it step by step. Decriminalize marijuana and spend my tax dollars on keeping the real criminals in jail, not marijuana users.
