This tax is a huge burden on seniors, who are on fixed incomes and cannot afford any more tax increases. I doubt there are many houses in Fairfield County that are assessed under $300,000.

This will lower property values, which will lower tax revenue. No one wins!

All these law changes will do is to make more people leave CT. The zoning law changes would destroy downtown Greenwich and make it impossible to navigate. Developers will use these rules to their advantage to get their projects built not caring for the environment.

This state was once well-run with no state income tax. You incompetents have ruined this state and if it gets worse, more people with assets will head to Florida.

It is preposterous to think that a home valued at $300,000 in lower Fairfield county is a "mansion". Any added tax burden to us is unfair. We already pay more that our share to revenue to the state. Also, since the Fed has limited the amount of property tax that can be deducted from those taxes it is a double burden. Also, to limit the city's zoning ability in their towns is unfair. The state doesn't want the Fed to tell them what to do - the cities don't want the state to interfere in their area too.
