Our communities cannot afford a new statewide tax. The working class can't afford it.

Zoning is a local decision! A Mansion Tax is wrong. A $300,000 house is no mansion. Its just another tax by a new name.

This is our home! This is our community! This is place where our children grow up and where they come back to build its own nest. Please do not destroy it!!!

These taxes are clearly aimed at punishing Fairfield County residents. Perhaps if the state government became more fiscally responsible they would not need to attempt taxing their constituents. After all, it's their policy and inability to govern that has led us here in the first place!

No more property tax increases. Again, it will be Fairfield County that will near the brunt of this new law. Find ways to trim and consolidate current spending.

Our town has no land left. Let’s protect the small green spaces left. Residents should be able to say what they want in their community.

This would lower property values, create an imputed tax above surrounding states that are comparable and halt all and any momentum this state has to getting back some of its recent attractiveness.

We are being taxed to death which can be verified by the number of families evacuating from CT every day. I am a senior citizen and would like to remain in my home state.
