Oppose Statewide Property Taxes and State Control of Zoning

I oppose any increased power of the State over the Towns, let's preserve our citizen power close to home

This must be a bad dream to feel that our State government wants to completely control/destroy our lives. This ought to stop. Our town school system is very overcrowded, despite that big part of our property taxes for the board of education is so high.

Just when CT is in a place to take advantage of the horrible Westchester taxes, and then this is proposed? Really foolish!

According to US News and World Reports, Connecticut has the fourth highest effective property tax rate in the country. Let’s not make it any worse. And let’s not allow statewide zoning mandates to give our citizenry yet another reason to leave our beautiful state.

Stop the excessive taxation. how much more can the CT legislators willfully extort money from residents.

Stop the zoning and taxes to be handled by the state.

We oppose any loss of control on these issues.
