We are already paying some of the highest taxes anywhere with so little to show for it. If the goal is to chase the rest of us out of ct, this will do it.

Yet Another tax for a state that doesn't know how to reduce spending. Taking control from towns by the state that manages to screw up whatever it touches. That's why people are leaving in droves.

As a retiree on fixed income I'm opposed to this tax. CT should be doing more to help low and middle income residents afford to live in CT...not continually making it more financially difficult.

This is absolutely outrageous, and disconnected from reality. To believe that a $300,000 single-family home in Connecticut is a mansion is to simply deny facts and reality. Now is a time when CT should serve as a desirable state to attract investment, new families, and a positive population growth that can build on the communities we have -- not create incentives that will dissuade new members of our community from joining or will encourage existing members to leave.

Please vote no on these bills which would only serve to put more taxes on the people of CT. This is forcing my family to seriously consider leaving the state. Thank you.
