Local control must remain in the communities we chose to invest in. The state does not have a right to trash that investment.
NO MORE TAXES. Fix your budget problems, fix your spending problems and stop using our pocketbooks to appease your base.

CT should be decreasing the size of government, not increasing. This whole covid response is out of control, based on fear and sensationalism rather than facts and logic. Lives are permanently destroyed for no good reason, making the intent of those in charge highly questionable. Stop taking everyone’s livelihood, give money and jobs back to the people, privatize services and let the people choose how to spend their money.

I can't work for free. And. over populating towns will only be a deterrent for anyone having any interest in this already unpopular state

I 100% Oppose Statewide Property Taxes and State Control of Zoning. I believe towns can best manage their own affairs. The people living in Greenwich invested in the community by moving to it. Many purchased home - saving their entire lives to buy a home here. And now to suggest that others who do not even live in the community might determine zoning and other issues is completely wrong and goes against American values. It is a confiscation of property rights. The proposals are nothing short of preposterous. In regard to establishing a state wide tax - I just can imagine what a horrible idea that is. High tax states like CT are already losing residents in droves to low tax or no tax states. Instead of increasing taxes, we actually need to think of ways to incentivize people to stay and to come back!
