I oppose any new taxes and change of zoning which has just been suggested. This new tax would hurt the middle class. Tax the country clubs and private schools such as Brunswick and Greenwich academy. They can afford it!

Planning & Zoning decisions need to stay local. Politicians in Hartford know our P & Z requirements, I don't think so!

The government should be encouraging investment in CT and home ownership is a bellwether of commitment to a community and a state. Don't penalize the residents for their investment in and commitment to Connecticut!

Centralization of control did not work for the Soviet Union and will not work for Connecticut. This change would mean that there are no single family homes in Greenwich, just “mansions”. Once your government starts talking like that, it is no longer serving the people, but demanding that the people serve it. Very bad idea.

Adoption of this legislation will just send more CT residents to other states. All my neighbors are moving to Florida already because of CT taxes
