I oppose this taxation because it hurts homeowners that are trying to keep roots in CT. We already pay high city property taxes.

Our family's 1200 square foot, two bedroom apartment is not a mansion.

This is based on perceived wealth not actual. Stop illusions and foolery!

Strongly opposed, our real estate values would be destroyed. Our community would be ruined.

I fully oppose these bills and yet another reason why hard working taxpayers like myself will be forced to leave this state since they continue to bleed us dry. They should propose a bill to lower the corporate tax rate instead to bring businesses into this state, not drive them away or deter them from coming to CT.

being a senior citizen and on a limited income the added taxes will put me me in jeopardy . I live in Fairfield county and my house is valued at a higher price than other counties, it is sad that I have lived here in all my life and cannot afford it. please answer this question ...where can I go to live the rest of my life???

These bills are a shameless power and money grab from Hartford that should be opposed by every townsperson who value his or her independence and anyone who is middle class or aspires to be.

Enough higher taxes on our homes, we will consider leaving CT if we cannot afford them!

It’s a disgrace that this subject is even on the table after everything we have been through! It will take years for the state to come back.

These bills are wrong-headed and will damage an already fiscally compromised Connecticut by driving even more resident taxpayers out of our state.
