Am vehemently opposed to this legislation. These matters must stay in the hands of the local municipalities ! That is what historically “States” Rights “ are all about!! Save our democracy!

$300,000 is not a “mansion”! We already have a dysfunctional zoning board in town - do not need added chiefs trying to make more messes.

Enough taxes already! I strongly oppose these CT land and property tax bills as they just open the door to further taxation.

When the State of Connecticut gets involved in local issues it winds up costing the taxpayers more money. Zoning regulations should remain local to cities and towns.

I oppose these bills! $300,000 house in Fairfield county is low end. Let's kill the middle class. I've lived in Norwalk all my life but won't be able to retire here. Moving away from my children and grandchildren is going to kill us.

Stop the madness. You need to figure out how to live within your means. We all do

Connecticut residents are taxed enough! Not to mention anyone who classifies a property assessed at $300k as a mansion knows nothing about the home values in this state. This will kill real estate in the state as people will leave in droves.

Totally opposed to both...we will not be able to afford to remain in Town if mansion tax is approved...our quality of life is already deteriorating...do not need more density!
