Don’t pass the mew statewide property tax. If passed, more people will leave the state.

This is just bad legislation that centralizes authority with those who will have no invested interest in the areas they hope to impact and no authority granted by those that will be affected. The authors of this legislation have provided no evidence that these laws will benefit the State or local communities. It is hard to fathom that in this era of fiscal irresponsibility that the state government believes making CT even less competitive is a worthwhile goal.

Let’s all band together to stop these disputable bureaucrats in Hartford on imposing more taxes and ridiculous zoning laws. Enough already! Residents are leaving the northeast in droves for tax friendly states with a better quality of life!

Enough! We pay more than enough in taxes and get very little back from the state. If you want to chase more businesses and people of means out of the state to Florida, this is a great way to do it.

Communities are best run by local government where the residents can make the decisions. As far as another tax, why doesn’t the state government try something new.... cut overspending learn to manage within a budget like the people you’re taking this money from.

This "mansion tax" is an egregious political move by the incompentent Democrats who have run this state into the ground financially. NO to anymore new taxes to bail out Connecticut's unfunded pension liabilities. HELL NO!!!!!

We welcome diversity and solutions to making housing more affordable, but this is not the answer.

This is one of the most unfair and damaging pieces of legislation I have ever seen. It will severely damage the value of our property and do nothing to solve the underlying problems.
