These proposals appear to be yet another attack on job creators, already overburdened taxpayers and the middle, working class, to try and make up for the fiscal and legislative mistakes of Hartford and New Haven. Stop looking for a handout from others and fix your own problems for once. Try to grow your own tax base by encouraging businesses and residents to stay in Connecticut, don't give us yet another reason to leave the state.

Thank you so much for spearheading constituent opposition of this bill. It’s beyond outrageous.

CT should tax Florida residents who own homes in CT and spend more than 30 days in CT. This and other ideas will appear at TaxReform.Net.

I firmly oppose any measure that increases taxes, especially when the government is already so full of fraud, waste and abuse. I expect my elected representatives to propose and support a vast array of bills eliminating as many forms of taxation as possible. Especially duria pandemic, how is it not clear that the only moral way forward is to put workers first and allow them to keep as much of their paychecks as possible? Any proposal to rid workers of more and more of their pay is wholly criminal.

Another insane bill by a sad legislature of a state losing population trying to save itself fiscally by alienating new potential residents.

I believe these bills will hurt our town & effect the future of my properties as well as create in already dense areas even more traffic.

If there is going to be mansion bill, it should be for houses over $3,000,000 minimum.

CT needs to lower taxes and cut spending not raise taxes and push more people out.
