We do not need any more taxes on our property and certainly don't need the State Legislature controlling the zoning rules in our individual towns and changing the whole look for our towns.

I oppose state control zoning. Every town is different. It is impossible for state to manage every town’s zoning at proper manner. This bill is the most unrealistic bill I ever seen.

Enough is enough. NO MORE TAXES. My 1,800 square ft home in 2007 was appraised at $750,000. The smallest mansion I know.

$300,000 isn't a mansion, and property tax already screws us over!

This destroys the concept of community and allowing a community to standards.

I strongly oppose the continued barrage of taxation as blanket response to a lack of fiscal responsibility. Our state government needs to work at creating a budget that is reasonable and increased taxation will continue to drive down property values and accelerate people leaving the state. Taxes can only cure so much. What happens when there is nothing left to tax?

This is ridiculous, how can they call this a “mansion tax” on a $300k home. People are struggling already with local property taxes along with just high living expenses in CT. It is such a low threshold because they want to get $ from just about everyone in CT. It will drive people out. What happens to hardworking homeowners who can’t pay? Will they threaten to take my home away ??!!! Such a shame. I strongly oppose. CT needs to get it together STOP being greedy!!!!
