There are many solutions to generate income for the state. Give tax-free incentives for the Hollywood filmmakers. It will bring in revenue and help the economy grow. If we became a no income tax state. We would have corporations flock to our state. Legalize recreational marijuana. Another thriving business that will generate income for the state. All these ideas are not new. They work in other states. The 300k tax idea will only drive more people out of our state. We will have more problems on our hands. This not a good solution.

Local government is the best solution for all issues for ALL citizens. You can not lead the People from 100 miles away. Everything happens locally.

I’m on a fixed income can’t afford a tax hike
That mean our mortgage will go up struggling
To keep a roof over our head.

I’m a senior citizen small business owner still working in Greenwich and Westport CT. The taxes in this state are too high for me and my employees. Some of my clients are leaving CT for fear this law will pass. I may do the same. You are chasing tax payers out of this bad traffic, cold weather state. TT ATTRACTING tax payers and corporations, not repelling them.
Will the last one to leave CT please turn off the lights

The government has no right to take away the “value” of my real property that I worked hard to acquire and maintain.
