I oppose SB 1024. Hartford should not have control over the towns and cities.

The proposed bills would financially damage all retired people in the State of Connecticut and do nothing to increase affordable housing

My so called "mansion" is a small 3 bedroom 1111 sq ft. home. This would be awful for us.

These bills are a disgrace. It will urbanize our towns, not create additional affordable housing and will force me a high earner business leader to leave this state.

Each town and city should set their own rules. If the elected officals are having trouble managing their town or city they should ask the state to help with their management.

Leaving zoning law to each town/city.
We do not need more taxes and laws.

Hartford already has influence over local zoning any time a developer sues a municipality over a rejected project, don’t give them more. And Hartford has never seen a tax it hasn’t increased. One mill will be two faster than they can spend it.

Do not pass these bills into laws. Real estate taxes & zoning regulations must always remain with the local authorities. A house assessed at $300K is not a mansion. Defeat "SB 171" & "SB 1024".

Real estate taxes & zoning regulations should always remain with the local authorities. Too many hands in our pockets already.
