SB 1024 is such a blunt instrument. Such poorly crafted legislation. Destructive, not thoughtful. So sad.

We pay enough in taxes and this will only end up driving people out of the state and ultimately hurt the state.

This bill would place extraordinary financial burdens on many middle class families in the state of Connecticut.

No more TAXES! The damage created by the FLA is brutal on the lower & middle class! And stay out of the zoning game - it's a local matter...

Greenwich is a multiracial community now. Long gone are the days of "gentlemens agreement." Connecticut was a land of minimal governement when I moved here in 1969. The came income tax and urban renewal. It's never been the same.

Focus on reducing costs in Hartford, or find non-earnings assets to sell to raise cash - state buildings, land, etc. Stop raising taxes, especially on other counties.

SB 171 is double taxation on our property. This bill is not fixing the state wide problem of spending. we need business friendly measures to be taken to create jobs and reduce expenses starting with cutting government spending.

I am strongly opposed to the imposition of a statewide property tax and legislation to restrict local zoning control. These are individual town issues to be voted on locally.

Are they insane or what? Since when does $300,000 constitute a "mansion" in this day and age? That wouldn't even get you a dog house in a lot of places!

Do not need the state to regulate what to do with our property and with our taxes.
