Fairfield Dems campaigned on support for local zoning and now are silent - not one word from Haskell or Berger-Girvalo to support Ridgefield. Either they have changed their minds or they LIED!

NO! Just NO- What makes people love Connecticut is being eroded away by greed, shortsighted ideas and thoughtless plans. Just say NO! Enough is Enough!

Enough with the taxes already! Mansion tax? At $300,000? State legislators all need to go! No more money or more of us will leave. period.

We pay high taxes already. No need to tax us anymore. Otherwise companies and families will move to Florida and other low-tax States and CT will end up with LESS tax revenues!

I oppose these bills in their entirety. They are toxic for the residents of CT.

Say NO to State Property Tax. People are already facing tax increases here in Norwalk. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

I strongly oppose both of these bills (SB 171 & SB 1024). CT doesn't need any more taxes, and the idea of permitting any state government to control local zoning is appalling. We, the citizens of CT, do not live in a dictatorship, do we?!

I’m Planning & Zoning Commissioner in West Haven. Connecticut cities and towns should keep their rights!!!

Against SB 1024 & SB 171. In the last 10 years my taxes have gone up 30% and homes have lost 30% on ave in Stamford.

I oppose Hartford taking over local control. Small towns must govern themselves on zoning. Giving this power to Hartford is absurd.
