These proposed changes make no sense. We must be allowed to maintain town oversight and protect community and individual property rights. We must work to find viable approaches to affordable housing, not by overwhelming existing residential neighborhoods.

This tax hits retirees like me unfairly. I don't have a mansion, just high a priced small two bedroom condo ... high priced because it is in Fairfield County. I some other parts of the state it would sell for 1/3 the price and not be taxed under the proposed plan. Yet my operating costs are the same.

Greenwich already has Section 8 and Affordable Housing, and those who have not left for Florida and other tax friendly states will certainly think twice about keeping residency in Greenwich. Hartford and it’s legislators have done enough damage to this once great state.

Norwalk residents already pay to much in State taxes with too little back. Norwalk is not a wealthy town but gets unfairly lumped with it’s more wealthy neighboring towns. An additional tax will be too much of a burden.

CT is already an expensive state to live in don't further taxes us when you the current budget can not be managed properly. CUT SPENDING!! As for zoning that should remain at the town level. We don't need the state, nor the feds for the matter, dictating our zoning. These ideas are absolutely absurd!

We are FOR affordable housing, we are FOR for inclusiveness and diversity. We stand AGAINST the state's takeover of local autonomy and we stand UNITED against NEW taxes on the hard working people of CT.
