Each municipality should have its own jurisdiction over mill rate and property! Now is not the time to turn away potential home buyers when real estate is helping a stalled economy rebound.

I am strongly opposed to the imposition of control by the State of Connecticut over local zoning as well as the proposal to impose a so called "mansion" tax. This is "statism" taken to the extreme and we must strongly unite to resist the takeover of local autonomy.

Enough is enough. This is a house tax on everyone mainly fairfield county. Malloy did it and now Lamont. Why should the state dictate our zone. Do they know our community.
