Stop thinking up new taxes, start thinking up less spending. How many people have to leave CT before they understand why.

I am opposed to a state wide property tax in a post to the states interference in local city planning.

The towns must retain control of local zoning. And Hartford must stop excessively taxing it’s residents.

I oppose both of these bills. Adding an additional property tax on homes assessed at over $300,000. in Fairfield county is preposterous as well as the bill proposing state override of local zoning laws. Please stop these bills in their tracks before they go any further.

Please stop the over-taxation and big-government reach. We need to retain the local character of our towns with local planning and zoning.

Keep local decisions local. We are over taxed already. Opposed these bills.

Opposed to additional taxes, particularly higher property taxes which may go to other town school systems.

These two bills will only drive more people out of CT. Who will be left to pay the taxes which are already amongst the highest in the country.

I oppose statewide property taxes and CT State control of Zoning. Local laws should remain with the town.

There is nothing smart about these bills. Stop raising taxes, stop increasing spending, and stop trying to destroy the local towns with big city zoning ideas.

Cut spending and keep the State out of local zoning.

This bill is not going to give me better access to education and it will permanently alter the landscape in the town we just moved to

I do not support this measure. Greenwich will lose its character and already does a fine job of ensuring a diverse community and performs city planning and zoning activities in an exemplary manner.
