Hunter: we understand your frustration, please realize that this was a court ruling and that the DA objected. This is not the DA's doing. We need to rally together and rationally express our thoughts and use concrete examples as to why this is a bad idea.

The address where the state wants to place this violent sex offender is near a park, a school, and is located in a family oriented community in which you will always see children playing or walking to and from school, allowing this violent sex offender reside at said address places our children in harms way. Sex offenders never reform nor do they ever change their behavior. We should be protecting our children and to putting them in harms way. It should also be noted that this community has movie in the park which is for children in our community and a park is right by the address this sex offender wants to reside. I ask the court not to allow this individual to reside at the address on La Paz.

This is absurd that this is even being considered. Shame on DHS and the property owners for considering placement of a KNOWN sex offender in this quiet and family-oriented neighborhood. It is outrageous and irresponsible considering the CLOSE proximity to 1) an elementary school, 2) several bus stops, 3) a park that is within a few hundred feet and 4) a water park that attracts several children every summer. Words cannot express the anger that I and many others feel regarding the situation. Do not allow a system that fails to effectively punish sex offenders and keep others safe from the potential of repeat offenses, fail once again. Please hear our call to protect our neighborhood and our children.
