This cross was put here for a good reason. To remind us of the war that was fought! Why does everyone want to erase history??

History is just that, it's. History, regardless of what shape or form it represents. Nowhere does it state in the constitution that church and state are separated.

Do not take down Peace Cross. Surely, you have something else to do with your time that would contribute to the county instead of taking away from it.

This historic landmark doesn't do anything to harm those who see it. Know the history and what it is for and it should be obvious it should stay as it is.

Please let the Peace Cross stand in honor of those who lost their lives. The very ones who fought for our freedom and allows you to make decisions for everyone. Well it's my freedom too, and I am speaking out to let it stand. God Bless America.

There are other memorials erected in Maryland such as the Martin L. King memorial that is allowed to remain to memorized the Black history. Now some people think this should be remove because it offended some people.

This is SICKENING to me.... My Grandfather (E. L. Dieudonne SR) and his family lived and grew up right by this Peace cross in Bladensburg. He served in WWI - many of his friends names are there on this monument. As a child, I remember my Dad telling the story of it when we'd drive by it. LEAVE IT!!!

What good purpose would it serve in removing this monument to local heroes of WWI. The judge in my opinion is overstepping his authority !
