Volleyball does not need water to play just sand so move some sand somewhere else and ,eve the water to the families in the city !!!!

I am against the idea of having volleyball courts. I do not want this beach privatized

This is a beach paid for by the taxpayer for use by the taxpayer. While I support the concept of sporting facilities being integrated into the beach area I don't support them taking over the beach to the detriment of your average day user. Most people want to go to the beach for the peace and serenity it offers. A place to enjoy the sun, the sand, the water and the view. These will all be negatively impacted if Council allows the commercial exploitation of this beach by a select few. This cannot be allowed to happen and every Councillor needs to hear the public, hear them clearly and vote to support those taxpayer's wishes.

Volleyball is played at night and on weekends.. For the most part, unless you're catering to the u employed... this make absolutely no sense.

Disgusting that city council would even consider selling off yet more public assets/property to privatization!!!

Aren't we learning from other disasters. EG: Port Dalhousie disaster, Jones Beach disaster, Crystal Beach disaster. All of these beaches used to be public, hence why everybody is coming to Sunset Beach and to enjoy the sanctuary and serenity. Leave the public beach alone!
