This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Developers have ruined Port Dalhousie. Leave sunset beach alone!!

Dear Mr. Mayor, Please leave our beach alone! It is our one last public beach that has not been taken over by private enterprise. We deserve at least one beach that the citizens can claim as their own. As a child we had many beaches to enjoy and slowly over the years they have all gone over to marinas. Leave Sunset Beach alone! Is that why you changed the name from Municipal, so that we wouldn't feel that it was OUR beach anymore?

I grew up at the beach....every day, all summer swimming, picnicking, playing and exploring. In Spring and Fall it was long walks on the beach and watching sunsets. I could see the beach from my bedroom window and watched it even when I wasn't there. I grew up and bought a house 3 streets from the beach and continued to spend much of my time there and want that for our next generations. There's not much left to get our kids off their screens. Please don't take away this treasure of the community.

Leave the beaches public for ALL to enjoy. I thought they had beach courts by lock 3 viewing station. Keep them there. Nature is not for sale.

The beach is a natural space and should be kept as a place where everyone can come to play. Don't decrease the space for everyone else!

As a resident of Lakeshore Road I am against this. I am all for improvement but privatizing and putting in all the volleyball nets is NOT okay.

We have lost all of our pools and now to make a few bucks from some company that can go and buy their own land and make sand courts, we are going to lose public beach. Let the private sector take care of themselves and leave our one last family beach alone.

I live in this neighbourhood and we recieved a notice from the city about the vollyball courts but nowhere did it say it would become a private beach. For so many familys that is their summer vacation spot to bring their children. Cost of living us.such that they cant afford to go anywhere else. Why does the city want to take this away from the people and destroy a beautiful waterfront .
