public lands are just that "public". Our governments must stop bowing to developers and selling their souls. We want to be free to enjoy our outdoors. ALL our children should have the privilege of enjoying the natural world.

This will ruin nature's beauty with un necessary man made construction which will add to pollution and create an eye sore.

It would be nice to have SOME waterfront left for the taxpayers and citizens of St. Catharines. Geez, the teenagers don't have anything to do... now you want to privatize the one decent beach we have? No.

I grew up in North St. Catharines and the public beaches need to stay public! Let private interests buy up other land and create their sand courts there, not on public recreation lands that add to the social fabric and enjoyment here in St. Catharines.

Keep the beach in its natural state. They can rent a warehouse and out sand in it. Use it all year round!

This beach is beautiful the way it is, and does not need any activities on it. It has a beautiful view and shouldn't be obstructed by volleyball courts. The name change to Sunset Beach reflected the beauty of the beach, and the view should remain clear.
