The beach belongs to everyone...it is one of the last places, that you can spend time with your families without technology and money....please keep it for us all!

Just to popular of a beach to loose such a big portion and no matter how you organize the parking will never be enough to handle the well over a hundred extra cars for the volleyball! 12 courts with 12 players, 1 ref not to mention subs, 12x13 =156!

If a private company wants to set up a business then let them go buy a piece of private property and develope that. Public parks are just that, for the public. They are not intended to be used by private companies/corporations to make a profit at the public's loss.

Please don't ! Stop all this now. This has been a family meeting place for years. It is one of the few beautiful places left.

Sunset beach is the only place we enjoy our time after long hours of hard working we as a family enjoy playing soccer fresbie boarding kites running and relaxing and also enjoying joining other families to come together to talk and to share our daily life stories ,it's really real fun in sunset beach,my question is are you serious to take all that from us?why?who gave that right to do that ? do you think we the people and residents of St Catharines, kids, youth, men women, seniors and people with special needs don't deserve to have a beach like that to enjoy our time ?you have to think thousands times about?

Please don't privatize sunset beach, it's the best beach in the city with the best view of the sun set, 'my family and I for years now have gone to enjoy the beach and park during the day and the most amazing sunsets at night. There's nothing like it. Not only that but it's the best place for peace and reflection. It would be absolutely heartbreaking to see this beach be privatized, port Dalhousie isn't what it once was, not sun set beach too.

We all pay city taxes and are entitled to use our city beaches! Let's hope that common sense prevails at City Hall!

We have very few public beaches in St. Catharines and this one is well used. We need to maintain some undeveloped natural landscape in the region or we will be paved over in a couple of decades.

My family uses this beach a lot during the summer. Taking over the beach with these nets would be an eyesore and change this from a community public beach for family's to enjoy Into a volley ball court. I don't understand how this could even be considered. I sincerely hope that this public beach remains as it has been. A public space for all to enjoy.

There are unused volleyball courts next to Lock #hey don't need the public beach to play volleyball. The beach belongs to everyone and not to exclusive bodies or organizations
