Save the beach for everyday people to enjoy NOT for sale to private interests!

These are public beaches and should remain so.

I have spent a good deal of time at this beach drawing and painting and of course, relaxing and enjoying the quiet beauty of the place.

I am not anywhere near Port Weller, but am signing and sending to Kristen Sullivan, and those I know who live in Port Weller, and also to all city of St. C. councillors. Not on Facebook, sorry.

I pay taxes in order to enjoy the use of the beaches in St. CATHARINES,having to pay again for the privilege is criminal.

Can't believe this is even being considered. I am disgusted with this counsel's idea of trying to sell our property to the highest bidder. You closed the pools, then changed the name of the beach, now you want to sell it off. This idea stinks. There is one way in, where will the traffic go? There are no facilities to speak of. just a terrible idea because someone else will pick up the tab. I vote NO, and I will vote no to Mr Phillips and the Mayor if this goes though.

My Mom's favourite beach and its dog friendly... Very nice community beach I'd like to keep visiting.

Please leave the beach front a natural space for everyone to enjoy. My grand kids love to go there and it is a safe place for everyone to enjoy the water and the sand castles that can be built there.

Why not use port Dalhousie since it's already ruined, or lock 3 which had volleyball before?

Keep the beach clear and for the people to use!

Go ahead and put up some volley ball or Beach ball courts, this is public land though. For all citizens to enjoy, not just an elite group/pay per use... As much as you want to make St. Catharines into another suburb of Toronto, just no.

This is ridiculous. Most of that area loves going to that beach.

I have been going to this beach for years. Quieter and nicer then Port Dalhousie. Public beaches should remain that way...PUBLIC

Too much of our waterfront is inaccessible to the public already. This proposal should be denied.
