I attended the meeting and am against 12 permanent courts and what is essentially privatizing the beach.

This beach is home to many beach goers every spring and summer. Whether watching the sunset, walking the beach or cooling down with a nice swim. Lets keep ut that way.

We need this beautiful place to enjoy with our future generations. We miss everything that is being taken away from us, one foot at a time.

There is little public beach area within the city of St. Catharines.
Allowing private venture to monopolize this public domain is unconscionable!
We are adamantly opposed!!

Sunset Beach is for everyone! The city has finally recognized what a gem it is and how lucky St Catharines is to have a beach on Lake Ontario (It is only one of two sizeable beaches from Niagara-On-The Lake to Confederation Park in Stony Creek). The city has been manicuring the beach and the citizens of St Catharines/Niagara have been using the beach and surrounding park. Don't lose this public space for a few dollars.

Waterfront space should be about enjoying the waterfront view and water sports not a sport on the land

We need to protect public spaces so they can be enjoyed by all. There are too few public beaches.

No privatization of our sunset beach!! Awfully wasteful for just a handful of people to play a sport 3 months of the year.
