Please keep this Beach open for families, local residents and visitors. It’s wrong to take a small public beach and make it a profitable business. Go buy a piece of land somewhere else and start your business there!

I trust the city will screw this up. Port Dalhousie still hasn't recovered from the city's mess a few years ago. Don't change anything! Don't add pay parking either. Leave it alone! It is wonderful as is.

This idea is ridiculous. It's not always about money. Leave things how they are. The citizens of St catharines/Niagara region deserve to have thier public beaches!!

The beach should be for all, not only for an elite groupe

As a St. Catharines native and living right near the beach and enjoying many family gatherings it would be very disappointing if the beach was privatized. There are few things a family can do without costing a fortune. A day at the beach is one of the best I can think of. Some of my best memories are at that beach. Keep it public please.

As a lifelong resident of the north end of St. Catharines, it would be a shame to occupy so much of that space for only one purpose volleyball. I strongly object to the proposed plan.

Please don't put volley ball nets on sunset beach. We want to relax there with families. Pick a non beach place along the canal where it doesn't affect our natural nature. Thank you.

We dont need more volleyball courts. We need places where families can commune with nature as God intended.

If this private group is allowed to set foot on this public beach(and make money) then I will not be at all surprised to see a big for sale sign going up in the near future and the beach being completely privatized. It will be the beginning of the end!!
