Change that NEGATIVELY affects people, especially children's education is criminal. It is the action of people or a group of people who have no other solutions. Fix the problem, don't just relocate it!

Ray White road is dangerous. Little kids should not have to cross this street to get to some random school. Also, protect my inheritance. Don't ruin my parent's property value. I'm a senior (by credit hours) and should get to sign a petition if I feel strongly enough about its contents.

Part of why we started an "e" or internet petition (besides convenience) is so that it protects the "integrity" for us and help compile everyone's collected signatures in one place! We can then create "hard copies" with a click of a button and print for the meeting along with your SUPER comments! You can't sign twice BUT you CAN close the application, re-open and have your spouses, friends, relatives, and children (over the age of 18) sign individually. The petition "polices" itself! It keeps track (I believe) by tracking the individual emails rather than names! If the app or page is NOT closed fully between (say spouses signing separately) signatures it will mistakenly report that you have "already signed". So PLEASE close between (at least from phone) and open to let your significant other, friend or child of majority sign! Thank you!

Instead of moving kids from Friendship to Park Glen, and then kids from Lone Star to Friendship, why don't they just move one of the neighborhoods to the south of Shiver to Park Glen or to Friendship? That area seems to be where most of the growth and congestion is coming from. They have way more rental properties in that area which is generating a lot of the growth and crowding. I'm not saying this to be mean, but if you want to curb the growth issue, concentrate your efforts on where the growth is generating otherwise the rezoning is in vain and it will need to be done in a few more years.

Also, in my opinion, Ray White/ Heritage intersection is one of the most dangerous in my area! I try to avoid thinking about my 15 year old walking across to Central! Much less driving in a few months! I avoid driving through there! My elementary student doesn't walk but many people's children DO! Whose brilliant idea was it to take PUR young children and suggest that they cross a street with roughly 2500 potential inexperienced high school drivers trying to get home!? My 15 year old says he has to be SURE that everyone is stopped and then the cars are IN the crosswalk and this often pushes him out into the intersection as he is trying to get around them. Just another problem that this proposed rezone doesn't take into account.
