Headingley is a town centre and needs a post office.it is always busy.this is another example of selling off public assets and ignoring the need to meet the needs of vulnerable people.and the private sector will benefit no doubt.

Closing the Post Office in Headingley would deprive an extended community of a key service and would be a major backward step. I completely support this petition.

It makes a profit. It is always busy. It is a key part of the community. Why would it close? A true business would see this and be proud, not shut its doors.

Headingley is a large, vibrant community, but not an affluent area: Many of the population rely on public transport so of course it needs it's own post office!

Appalled to hear of this proposed closure-yet another stitch up for the people of this country courtesy of the old boys club... and helping hand of the "jobs for the Eaton boys" Tory party. Behaviour like this is destroying this country. Tell me one advantage this would bring to the community?? Momry monre money... when will they ever have enough? Answers on a post card... if you can find anyone selling stamps...

This Post Office is vital for the local community and used by the many older residents and the hundreds of students in the area.
