The proposal to move the International School of WA onto the grounds of an existing primary school is not a solution to overcrowding in western suburbs schools!

Not only do we lose a great open space which is so vital to the community but birds and bees also depend on this habitat. Children need open space to play and as the climate changes and heats up we need every tree that we can save. More cars more pollution. Protect our open space save the oval! Shame on the State Government.

Save our Green spaces. With infilling and bad government policies we are seeing Perth green spaces disappear. Our city is heating up as we have no trees or green areas to shade our roads or houses. Bad government decisions have created this mess. Put the international school with the japanese school. Fix the doubleview primary school on the original site. It needs an upgrade. Our roads are becoming congested in the area, more parking areas and more cars and school buses will result from this proposal adding diesel particulate air pollution to the problem.

We need our green space, our city and suburb is heating up due to infilling. No gardens no trees no wildlife. Stop this ridiculous clearing. Find a better solution. Put the japanese school with the international school

This is a badly rushed overlooked decision!! The oval is a necessity for the community and absolutely should not be developed on! Dont make the community and nature pay the price for the governments brainless planning! This oval needs to remain as it is.

With infill and smaller house blocks children need green space to play and be children.

Now we've had time to discuss these plans amongst our community and let it all sink in, I'm against the development. A better plan is required.

I am very concerned to hear of plans to relocate the International School to a site where a school already exists. Many locals use the ovals for exercise with their children and dogs. It will also place a burden on already busy roads with the huge increase in traffic.

This decision is not good for the international school, nor is it for Doubleview primary school. The oval is too small to accommodate 2 schools and there are better places with more space for the international school. This oval is our garden, in this crowded suburb where most houses do not have one. It's the place where our children meet their friends, play footy, soccer, run around and where people walk their dogs. There is no need to demonstrate the large benefits of green spaces. It would be inappropriate to halve it. I am also taking the opportunity of this petition to mention that I was present at the meeting organised by Liza Harvey and Peter Collier. I have been outraged by the lack of respect demonstrated by these leaders to the citizens affected by this decision.

I went to doubleview primary school and that school is getting larger and larger so we shouldn't just get rid of an oval which is a place for the kids to play in and cram them together in one small oval !
