Plenty of bars. No other magical, ocean-front, step back into time like the Willows. No alcohol.

I was raised in Salem Massachusetts. I spent many many endless summer days and spring and winter as well down the Willows enjoying the arcade and the fun. It was a safe and memorable place to enjoy my childhood. I also brought my children many times to say well over the years. At the end of this month, I would be bringing my adult children back to the Willows as well as my two granddaughters who are under the age of six. I do not think alcohol belongs in this family, friendly environment whatsoever. It could only cause issues, disturbances and it will take away from the atmosphere of family and fun that Salem Willows represents. Please reconsider, allowing alcohol licenses to be granted and do not approve alcohol to be sold within a reasonable parameter of Salem Willow Park. Thank you.

The Salem Willows needs to remain a family-centered destination. There are plenty of places in downtown Salem for people to drink. There is no need to bring additional traffic, increased noise and people coming to Salem Willows specifically to drink while families are trying to enjoy their time there. Keep alcohol out of Salem Willows Park.

It’s a family place. Leave the Willows alone and keep it alcohol free. Opening the door to more chaos.

I am a lifelong Salem resident. The Salem Willows Park has always been an area of respite for me. It's never needed alcohol and I see no reason to have it now. I appreciate that times change and they want to keep revenue up. But I hope they can find more family friendly ways to do that. There are plenty of bars in Salem. Let's keep the Willows free from that. Add another kiddie ride, or even a coffee café. But please no alcohol.

There are enough places to consume alcohol in Salem and surrounding areas. There aren’t enough places for families to enjoy alcohol free.

Is it possible to keep anything wholesome anymore and always make everything about money? There are plenty of places to get a drink, this does not need to be one of them.

If you need booze to have fun, go to a tavern.
