It would only take 2 drinks to make the ride out of the Willows very dangerous.
The road is too tight now that we added the bike lane that never had to be that wide.

I join in opposition to alcohol licensure at Salem Willows. This will absolutely introduce nuisance and change the character of the now family-friendly park. In addition to the issues outlined in the petition, it will increase police calls to the park and present hazard in the neighborhood.

The Salem Willows is known for good, clean fun for families young and old. I’ve been going there since I was a child and we brought our kids there too. Serving alcohol under an uncontrolled system is inviting trouble. It will no longer be safe to bring young children there. It will become a nightclub atmosphere . Very sad.
