Being a lifelong resident of this area I feel that an establishment severing alcohol at the Willows, something that has never been approved before, will have a negative impact on the very fabric that makes this area so special and welcoming to all visitors. Please do not consider approving any applications for an alcohol license.

Please don't ruin the Willows. It will become so much more dangerous with alcohol. There are always so many kids, it's a wholesome place that doesn't need alcohol. Open a bar downtown.

The Willows has existed quite happily now for many, many, years without alcohol. It's family friendly and generally visited by people driving. It's a big plus to have a small "sanctuary" in Salem where people do not have to deal with the influences of alcohol.

Alcohol in this environment will surely compromise the family atmosphere that has so long been what Salem Willows represents and overwhelm the parking situation that can already get congested and dangerous.

I cannot imagine a beautiful, family friendly place like the Willows allowing alcohol on or near its premises. My kids grew up going to the Willows, and still go there as young adults to have picnics and walk around. They still play Skee ball with their friends, enjoying themselves without an alcoholic beverage. It would completely change the character of the Willows, not to mention contribute to trash on the ground and in the ocean. Is this what we want tourists to see?!! I would not take my family there if alcohol was served on the premises or close by.

Historically the Salem Willows has been alcohol free and family friendly. If someone wants an alcoholic beverage with their meal, they can go to any number of Restaurants in the downtown area they can go to.
