I object to a bar operating at Salem Willows. It does not fit with the Family environment of the Willows, would create unacceptable noise and added parking demand on an already high demand parking area. Smokers would gather outside the bar- right where families walk. Drinking people can be belligerent- that’s negative for neighbors and those coming to Salem Willows. Do we really want to attract the “bar crowd” to a Family park!? The answer is NO!

Historically Salem Willows has been Alcohol Free, we should encourage and secure that geographical tradition for all residents and visitors. Thank You.

There is no place for a liquor license at Salem Willows. It would negatively change the character of this family-oriented park which I have enjoyed since I was a child.

Grew up in Salem and lived there for 23 years, however, have still brought family to the willows which does not need the alcohol in my opinion.

Salem Willows is crazy enough without allowing alcohol. There is very little enforcement if any at all on alcohol consumption so I can’t imagine that the Salem Police Department would do a very good job if it were allowed because they can’t handle it when it’s not allowed.

With the amount of drinking establishments already in Salem, not sure we need another one within an a family friendly park. I'm against any liquor sold within Salem Willows park.

This is a family park. And the area is not suited for alcohol use, inviting the wrong clientele. If one establishment is granted a permit it will entice others to do the same and our historic park will be dramatically changed.
