This is one of the last places that is not over run by tourist. Bringing in establishments with alcohol will take away the peace and serenity it holds for those escaping the crowds.

Place is for kids. Adults have enough bars downtown, this is the last inexpensive outing for families. Don’t ruin with booze

If this happens it will result in destruction of the historic willows and its community. Due to the affects of alcohol being altered decision making and poor judgment, I don’t know why anyone would think this is a good idea in a children’s park.

This park is down the street from SSU, allowing these activities is asking for trouble. That park is such a lovely place for the community to get some peace and quiet and some family time. Let’s keep it that way.

I am in opposition to this. We do not need more bars in Salem to attract the wrong type of people, ESPECIALLY in an area that is so close to where people live. People deserve the right to peace, quiet, and safety in their homes. We deal with enough as it is with the ever-increasing tourism in Salem which needs to stop. We don’t need to keep bringing in more unnecessary things.

the willows doesn't need homeless and alcoholics setting up camp because alcohol becomes easier to obtain.

For my family, the Willows has been a source of peaceful fun for over 60 years, four generations of us, and it's a great place to bring out-of-town guests, away from the bustle downtown. Please don't destroy this haven in a time when places of peace are hard to find, especially in urban areas. Keep the Willows (and Salem) distinctive!

Please keep The Willows alcohol free! There are so few places to go with a young family without drunken shenanigans! Salem has enough bars downtown.
