You need head teachers like this one bring him back

I don't know this man but he's definitely the way a headteacher should lead his school. I would have loved my children to have had such a great teacher

I have a child with special needs and after reading the comments I hope my little girl has a teacher who understands and makes it special like this! she’s only 5 but I already worry about high school because there’s no chance she will last in a military setting like what most have them have become

The school should be ashamed of themselves.

Schools need head teachers like him

I have no idea who you are, you are miles from where I live. But seeing the video, reading past and present students words just proves you are what every school needs and what every student deserves. Wishing this petition the best of luck

Have no connection with the school or Headteacher . However a good Headteacher who is inclusive and genuinely care about learning and wellbeing of his students is amazing . It’s amazing seeing people who are neurodivergent aiming higher and achieving. So many barriers including discrimination and judgement can hinder . Instead of support him you let him go impacting the school

Good teachers are far and few between. We just cherish ones like this man appears to have been to so many.

Schools need staff like him

Not a parent if a past or present student, but met him a couple of times and spent times with him in each occasion - an absolutely fantastic bloke who is very likeable and very personable. This academy trust need to be honest about what is happening - by not responding and not advising what is happening, not hey are doing a dis-service to the parents and students of the school.

Previous schools Mr Yates used to work in have majorly gone downhill since he left. All the students love him for him. I didn’t go to any of the schools he worked in but I have family who have. He has made such a difference to the children’s lives. Such such such a bad idea removing him from any school. Look at the TikTok videos the children have with Mr Yates in it. He isn’t just a great teacher but most of these kids don’t have dads in their lives and need someone to point them in the right direction which is what he has done. Any school that don’t see the benefit of having Mr Yates there is not the right school for him. Sign that petition to get him back into a school of his choice that don’t fail him because of a medical that he cannot help.

Keep a great teacher with passion

Worked with him at Heywood community high school and he a great guy. What a loss any school would be without him.
