Mr Yates is so cool and honestly a good guy in general. Every since he joined he’s been an amazing addition to the school

This is the sort off stuff headteacher don't get recognised for absolutely turning a failing school into a successful one , and he gets this thanks let's get him back and let him finish what he's started

seen and heard alot of amazing things about him and hearing how kids are thriving from his changes is just honestly best thing

Fantastic head teacher, changed lives for so many students struggling. 14 years i have been out of high school but if I could ever return, I would want Mr Yates as the head. Thank you Mr Yates

I worked with David Yates at Heywood Community High School for 7 years. His drive, enthusiasm, care and respect for the pupils, their families, the community and all staff was second to none.

I think he is fun and enthusiastic and the kids find him funny. We all have faults but no one has come in the way he has and put so much into turning a school around

Best head teacher ever! I remember him 15 years on and he was the best!!!

Mr yates was fantastic when we asked for his support with assisting a managed move for my daughter to move from tottington to another school, (through no fault of his was the reason for her move) he went above and beyond for us and we will forever be grateful to him.

Amazing human inside and out changes schools so so missed by litherland high students and extremely loved not a bad or sad day in school with mr Yates around ever

Mr Yates is what drew us to want to send our daughter to what was a failing school with a bad reputation! Mr Yates is just what a head teacher should be! He makes kids want to go to school. THS social media posts are full of comments from former pupils commending him for changing their lives and making their school days enjoyable and memorable!
