Please do the right thing and let Mr Yates get back into school! The Trust need to open their eyes and realise how much he is liked and respected both by pupils, parents and the local community. You can't nominate him to be a local hero in December then suspend him in July!

He’s an amazing man & would do ANYTHING to be able to keep his job! Which he should because he is kind, caring and yes he may be ‘extra’ but that’s why the kids like him!! He’s an amazing teacher and an all round amazing man! Keep him!

Mr. Yates was my old headteacher from 2005 -2010, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he is and was the best person for that role. His kindness and compassion for all students really sets him apart from his peers. He truly gives his all to each and every student. He is an incredible man and this is such a shame and a complete crime to take him away from the children who need someone like him most. Please reconsider this suspension. He is an incredible man and teacher. The children deserve to be fought for the way he has always done. This suspension is a grave error.

I have many friends at Tottington High School, and they are all devastated. BRING BACK MR YATES!

Brilliant teacher

Putting pupils first is rare these days.. Nothing wrong with being energetic.. I'm sure the school will suffer if he has to leave

Wish he had been there when my granddaughter started instead of just at the end. He worked miracles at the school and the kids loved him. Someone has made a big mistake and will regret it when the school goes back to the disgrace it was before Mr. Yates.

My Yates was my headteacher 15 years ago and he changed our school so much & went above and beyond to help all of his students.

Mr Yates is an amazing Head Teacher! My Daughter is currently in year 7 and she says he makes school so much Fun!

Please bring Yatesy! He is the best thing to happen to my school. Everyone wants him back as soon as possible. We miss him!

David Yates it's one of the best teachers about he care for all students and the school and parents let him do what he does best and for the other teachers instead of beening stuck up how about learn from him to be a better person
