Reinstate Mr Yates as Headteacher at Tottington High School

Bring him back!! He's amazing! My daughter starts in September! And every school deserves a headteacher like Mr Yates!!

Sometimes it’s a good thing to be different, instead of creating rule based institutions, which limits free thinking!!

From what I’ve seen and heard he sounds like the best headteacher, refreshing and what ALL schools need is a man like Mr Yates.

Its clear to see by all the comments that this man is loved and respected by not only the students but the parents aswell! Being him back!!!

Why suspend a headteacher for being different. This is what Children need these days. If there are teachers / governors / staff who don't like his ways maybe they should go. We need more teachers like him!! Tottington needs him!!

Dave Yates is the consumate head teacher, Innotive, caring, compassionate.

If teachers like him were around when I was in school I probably would have left with a few GCSEs sometimes you just need that one teacher that cares and it can go along way

If only all head teachers where as against bullying, and making the students feel like there problems are heard and sorted. If you lose Mr Yates, the school will just go back to how it was. Don’t punish this dedicated teacher for what he believes a young persons education should be like, you should be encouraging not discouraging

Absolutely the best head teacher that school has had, I’m absolutely gutted, my trust in him and his ways of leadership swayed my decision to put my children in the school. He listened, he acted and is highly respected by the children, parents and the teaching staff.

This man is exactly what Tottington High needed, I had 2 boys go through this school and he came just as my youngest son was leaving Yr 11. Things would have been very different for my boys if he'd been there throughout their education. Get him back!

Refreshing to see a headteacher who is passionate and obviously loves his job and is loved by his pupils. His energy and enthusiasm is so evident, rare to see nowadays.

Mr Yates has improved our school I don’t get why some of the staff think he is erratic

Any teacher that advocates for neurodivergent children deserve awards, not suspension...

If he gets through to the children like that , he's doing an amazing job.

He’s what the children need, bring him back.
