Please do not approve this disastrous plan, which is sure to have a deviststing affect on the health and well being of our beautiful bay and all the wildlife and sea creatures that make it their home.

Please save this wonderful natural habitat for birds and fish.

It is ridiculous that county commissioners would even consider allowing this to happen. You can't undo the potential damage. What is the explanation?

May 02, 2017 As a local Veterinarian - as part of the local business field, as a lover of my community and of the outdoors, I plead with the Manatee County leaders to follow their own slogan of "Keep Manatee Beautiful". I was born and raised here and can say with complete honesty that when I look around I am not always pleased with the progress. We are all so lucky to be part of an innately gorgeous area, an area that doesn't (yet!!) resemble the many towns of South Florida where they developed and developed and over developed to the point where now no one thinks of their gorgeous beaches as much as they do a concrete town. Don't take away something so wonderful that was given to you freely. Do the right thing. Make the right choice. Your grandchildren will thank you for it, as will I.

I have lived here 60 years, we have spoiled almost everything we have touched. Stop this project before we nothing left that's good and beautiful. Also what are we going to do with this new growth, we can't get over the Cortez bridge now.

Please keep the coastline as it is. It not only will destroy the wildlife, but cause more traffic, and that is a disaster already!

The proposed "Aqua by the Bay" will ruin the "Old Florida" feel that everyone visits to experience. That is by far the least of it though as you are aware of. The sea life that will be negatively affected at best, and destroyed at worst (and most likely) is not something to be taken lightly. If you have never taken a tour of the area that this proposal will destroy, I strongly urge you to do so as soon as possible. You will be absolutely shocked and amazed at the life inhabited by the area. If you have experienced the beauty of this sea life and you are still in favor of destroying it, I beg of you to search your heart because if you did, I would only hope that you would realize the horrific damage this place will inflict on these beautiful creatures. Please help. Let's not take this beautiful place from future generations. Let's not destroy our natural resources.

Do not allow Aqua by the Bay to disturb our eco system. Wildlife and sea life strive from the Mangroves along this shoreline! Say No!

Build this thing somewhere else. Stop screwing up wildlife habitats to make a buck. Stop the political corruption too. It's sick.
