Longbar Pointe - Save the Last Great Place on Sarasota Bay

There is no need to destroy this beautiful area for additional housing. Greed is the only motivator. Thank you for your consideration.

Must be stopped! Loss of this pristine shoreline would be tragic. Enough development already!

This is a pristine area that will totally destroy the natural life of the mangroves. Possibly the mangroves themselves will be destroyed.

This stretch of the bay is one of the very last gems of our amazing bay. An incredible ecosystem & nursery for our fish & wildlife. Please say "no" to Longbar Pointe & Aqua By The Bay.

It is sad we do not have county commissioners who care for our beautiful area.. So much has been lost and destroyed already. I wonder if these county commissioners who play God ever spent time in this ecological wonderland Most likely not. It is a unique experience. The marine life from the horseshoe crabs to the dolphins are a gift from God. Why destroy it? Humans suffer - the wild life suffers and for what a few more homes when we do'n't have the roads for the present population and more millions for the developers and the county commissioners who selfishly disregard the will of the people. I have seen it happen time and again in the 50 years I have lived in Bradenton. From oour beautiful oak trees being mowed down for some development or mall to our beautiful shorelines being desecrated for the sake of some developers pocket book.

Developing past the point of no return is pure folly. Infrastructure in West Bradenton is too tight and was designed for small town traffic. There's not enough space for a complex this huge. Build out east and leave our last natural shoreline alone. This is sinfully greedy over-development.

Infrastructure needs must be met before more residential development in West Bradenton. No sea wall, no dredging, no high rise condos! The mangroves and waters of Long Bar Point must remain pristine.

Don't allow this.

for Gods sake stop destroying our planet We the people should have a right to stop this kind of thing.It will make a few people rich but take away a part of nature that can not be replaced ever. It is a tragedy what they have all ready done to the area, bulldozing and burning all of the trees, destroying the beautiful ponds, killing all of the fish and water fowl.

This project is at too high an environmental cost, for the benefit of a few folks that cannot appreciate what we would be losing that could not be regained.

Please think about the legacy you will leave. Do you want to be remembered as the person who allowed the destruction of nature in Manatee County? Or as a protector?

Stop the destruction of one of the last wetlands in our area.
