Longbar Pointe - Save the Last Great Place on Sarasota Bay

We have laws against most of this so get out and stop this violation of State, County and Fed. regulations. OR... Goodbye fishing, tourism, swimming, dolphins and manatees. Hello 10 story buildings, exhaust fumes, gridlock, red tide,seawalls,docks and hundreds of boats in a mega marina and 2,900 units on that property.

It's time to show this developer that the laws of our County and State do have power. They protect our irreplaceable resources from self serving people who only want to line their own pockets.

It is our responsibility to preserve these regions for the wildlife and the future. Sarasota doesn't need any more developments.

We demand that this developer of Chinese Drywall fame not be allowed to wreck Sarasota Bay with this plan. It is a disaster from any viewpoint. It will guarantee red tide perpetually, death of the Bay and organisms in it, kill off tourism, fishing, birding, swimming at Coquina Beach, Beer Can and Jewfish Island. 13 story buildings - send this developer back to Miami!

Let's quit turning paradise into paradox! Does someone's bulging wallet need to take presidents over quality of life for everyone?

We need to protect the wetlands and the natural beauty of Sarasota. Please do not approve changes for Aqua.

There is already too much of our beautiful Florida land being decimated by Beruff and his ilk! They don't need to do any MORE damage!

I am totally opposed to this development. I urge you strongly to deny the Aqua by the Bay development. Vote No! Put the people who have elected you first.

This construction will have a devastating impact on the wildlife of the area and add substantially to the traffic problems in the area. We have enough homes here already. Every single piece of vacant land does not need a building on it.

Those beautiful white Pelicans are a joy. Taking away their habitat would be despicable. Do not let that man destroy our area .

There is no need-other than greed-to destroy this property-besides the horribly increased traffic-especially during "season"

Enough with destroying our ecosystem.
