Pretty soon there won't be any wetlands or mangroves in Sarasota Bay for future generations.

If this project is approved, you will be destroying the quality of the environment that draws people here - paving paradise to maximize a builders profit on his development.

Mangroves are the most important asset we have to assure a healthy bay and fish culture.

Apart from the many environmental depredations, the proposed "estuary" and seawall present serious public safety concerns, including flooding of access/egress for Tidy Island.

This should not happen to this beautiful area. These builders need to be stopped.

Long Bar Pointe is the last unspoiled shoreline on Sarasota Bay. Need I say more?

Please do not let this environmental travesty occur. It will have devastating long-term effects.

Enough with the "GROWTH" already. Leave some of Florida alone. Isn't our traffic bad enough already or do we want total gridlock! Stop now.

You really can't approve this! How many such places exist anymore in this state? The natural qualities of this place are irreplaceable.

This is of the greatest importance for the Bradenton-Sarasota area. It would be a disgrace to allow this development. We all know better, including the developers.

Please retain the mangrove shoreline on Sarasota Bay at Long Bar Pointe.

I have written the Manatee County Commissioners and Planning Board members to just vote NO on this development plan. We simply cannot reverse the renewed stewardship of Sarasota Bay.

This is an important ecological zone on which many species depend and it is a wonderful area to visit. I feel very strongly it is not in the community's best interest to allow development

Beruff will no stop until he has destroyed our shoreline and the creatures that call it home. Hope the Cortez fishermen and citizens jump on this and show up at the May 4 BOCC meeting.

Longbar Pointe - Save the Last Great Place on Sarasota Bay. We show our commissioners that our community stands firm against this approval and request they use our land development rules as intended to protect our valuable environment, and deny this development. Venice, Fl. The Petition 1 Highlight
